3D Tutorials - Using the Tools in Cinema 4D

A graphical interface that allows you to create, edit, and manipulate objects. You use tools such as the Selection tool to select and move objects, the Shape or Pen tool to draw shapes, and the Line tool to draw lines or to connect shapes in a diagram or flowchart together. You can also use the new Point Editor tool to modify the points of a shape. For more information, see Using the Tools, later in this guide.

This is a great tutorial for those who are starting out with Cinema 4D and want to learn some basic concepts. The tutorial starts with a simple cube and then gradually adds more complexity. You’ll learn to work with different parametric objects as you go along, such as the box primitive, cylinder and tube primitives, and sphere primitives. You’ll also learn how to use the mograph cloner and how to set up lighting and a sky object.

Another good tutorial for those starting out with Cinema Ollo4d , this one takes you through creating a stylized landscape. Once again, you’ll be working with parametric objects as you go along, such a box primitive and cylinder and tube primitives, and a sphere primitive for headlights. You’ll also learn how to animate the cube structures and create a unique bending effect. You’ll even learn how to set up a sky and light and render out your final scene.
